How to juggle everything, i think i need more arms??

Because of last month i was inundated with orders which is both flattering and rewarding, to think that so many people want to purchase something i create is the best feeling. Im thinking about changing how LCC is run, that way i can have 1 day a week off (shock horror) and i can still concentrate on my daughter who is growing up way to much, after all i am a SAHM, i started LCC to really keep me company when my husband started his new job with ridiculous working hours, not to make a profit, just make some pretties!

Now onto the changes, i was thinking of having 30 slots a month for custom spots. Once the 30 are up i will not be taking orders till the next month and so forth. This also got me into thinking about the workload, i dont think there is one item i make that i dont spend a significant amount of time to perfect it. (im my own worse critique). NOW in saying that, i would like to manage one custom spot daily, as some of the orders are becoming bigger/fiddly (technical word, you may copy it lol). This then can mean i dont only do 5 custom spots of Critter pouches or 10 custom spots of Iphone pouches. So techinically you might not have to wait a whole month for me to open up custom orders again. In reality im now producing around 20 orders a week. In between these 1 order a day i will stock up on ready made items, which can be purchased all month around.

In reality i dont want to drop any of the items that i make as i LOVE them all too much, i think its about finding a balance of what can be done.

Postal days will still be monday, wednesday and friday, unless i can convince hubby to take them on his way to work tuesday and thursday lol but this basically guarantees that once its made it should be on its way to you in 2 days.

Would love some feedback on what ive been thinking about.

Thanks for taking the time to read this everyone

  1. How about having someone help you?
With 2 people sharing the workload it would be easier on you :)

  2. I would but i cant pay them as the money from my sales covers my costs. So wouldnt really be beneficial for them

  3. family has to be the first priority! i understand that, as im sure most people do. if people cant understand that, well let them go elsewhere. all that should matter to you should be your wonderful little family. let lcc expand after your bub starts school. its great that we all love your stuff, it realy is. but it makes me take a step back when i realise that by ordering so much, im taking time away from your little one. i would much rather waiting a while longer. you bub has only one mum. always remember that. im sure your a great mum, and i no from experience that your great at lcc, but dont let it consume you. take a day or 2, or even more, and spend precious time with your little one. you both deserve it.
